Matching strength with tasks gets harder with age. Focus and yet allow the open mental physical spaces for pleasure. It's more difficult. And yet the need is greater. Something about this equasion is unfair. What do you think?

Conditions: snow, sadness, disruption, elegant quiet, forceful opposition, disquieting inner rumblings, isolation, weariness, powerlessness, failure to comprehend.

This vantage point, varicolored, luminous as Shererazade, my mind is in its night of dreams without sufficient light for reflection. Placements look familiar but reverberate with beconing from an unknown source. The miserable journey is documented but we are held safe from the realities of the world. What do you all have to offer me. A glance a word a lyric to an old song. Some comfort,.

It's been several months. You've not sent a message inquiring. Summer is a lax time. All the doors are open. This includes you all who may have ideas valuable to the mission of fighting poverty among American youth. I'd appreciate hearing from you

may be something in this world to which i
am suited but haven't found it

a pledge of thoughtful allegiance -
we'll make mandol bread together

while the dryer frumps your clothes
i'll wipe road salt off your pretty red jeep oh america

phone rings through running bathwater
that is where bread burns beyond my guard

we appreciate your attention to detail during these
bottom months of the year

when living gets all wound up to a new start
without the old year-without its trusted wings

supose there were no apostacy - no sea oats
no walking in the salty wind waves pounding

collect bikes, bike parts, recruit bike mechanics, choose a large parking lot center city, have food, entertainment, bike rodeo, safety instruction, facts about biking as transportation and exercise, publicize. This effort will net 100 to 200 bicycles for use by children and adults. It's all free. It's all car-free, except for people dropping off donated bikes. This is not a fundraiser! It's an attempt to provide transportation and recreation opportunities for the poor. Check out Uticas Safe Schools Underground Cafe Project, Utica New York

Anyone who thinks Amy Winehouse "is free to roam through Sarah Vaughn's lower range..." (as Sasha Frere-Jones writes in her review of Winehouse's "Back To Black" album, hasn't paid attention to Sarah Vaugh's recording of "Till You," ("I Hadn't Anyone Till You,")with the Count Basie orchestra.

To Winehouse, Marge Simpson, Lauryn Hill, and Sharon Jnes: Give it up girls. You're only fooling those who don't know any better - Grammys or no, you're junk.

Giving in, when ego is absent, is so wonderful. Others' experience flows over me, and if they do not misinterpret my silence, I can participate by simply listening. Later, the powerful reactions will resurface to become elements of fusion. Love is born of such engagements.
